I read a quote once that said, “Someday everything will all make perfect sense. So laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason”. And that is so true!

We never know what path our life will take, what challenges or obstacles may lay ahead. But we need to continue through our journey, no matter.

I would say that I’ve been thrown quite a few curve balls in my day and I didn’t know to “laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears”. Everything was eating at me until my journey took me to the doorstep of a very successful woman. Her teachings and her philosophies rang so true to me. One of her famous sayings completely turned my outlook around. She said pretend that every woman you meet has a sign on them saying “make me feel important.”

I embraced this idea and made it my goal each day to make at least one woman feel important through whatever talents I might have. It turns out that one of my talents is the gift of gab…who knew? And I’m also funny. Talking to a complete stranger and finding things that we can laugh about together creates an immediate bond!

I am excited about meeting our recipient and being her confidante through this process. I will be coordinating all our different specialties to be sure that her day is nothing but perfect! I would hope that her time with us would fill her mind with thoughts of happiness, strength and sisterhood. And I would hope that she also felt important!
